The short version
Biology is my work. Curiosity is the through-line.
I have worked across several domains of biology—from plants and protein quality control to host–pathogen questions—and now study one of life’s most persistent mysteries: why do we age?
Research taught me to look closely; writing taught me to ask better questions. I write science and health articles to make useful ideas easier to understand, and I turn to fiction and poetry when facts are not the whole story.
Outside the lab, you will usually find me playing chess, photographing details other people walk past, or thinking about life, philosophy, and the universe—often all at once.
